Protect your Bulbs from Rodents and other Varmints

When planting your bulbs add Coast of Maine's bulb planting mix or Gardener's Supply bulb planting mix to the hole. Both mixtures contain crushed shells. The abrasive nature of the shells helps to deter little critters from your bulbs. Coast of Maine's mixture also contains kelp meal which releases nutrients to the bulbs during growing season in the spring. The mixtures are available at our garden center.
