Perennial Asters and Mums

Perennial Asters and Mums benefit from being pinched. Now is the time to do it! Pinch back 1/3 to 1/2 of the plant. Pinching back will provide a bushier plant with a lot more buds. Shape the plant as you pinch. Do not pinch after July 4th, or the plant may not produce buds in time for Autumn.
